About us
Gretchen lives in Northeastern Ontario, where winter temperatures reach -40°C and colder, and has heated exclusively with wood for 10 years. In these masonry heater kits she has found a beautiful and efficient way to stay warm, bake sourdough bread, and not have to trade time, money, and sleep for firewood. She also builds timber frames, trains horses, and enjoys wool.
